Broke in 20 minutes

Best Uses

    I bought this axe to split some large (20"+) beech logs. I wasn't having much success with the maul and wanted to see how well this would work. It is light enough that I was able to get incredible speed and I found that splitting the wood was going very well.

    Then on one particular swing the blade went into the log and the handle came loose. I had only cut a few logs and this was probably only 15 - 20 minutes after starting.

    I will bring this back to my local store tomorrow and exchange it for a new one. If the new one lasts, I will give it a good rating.
