This torque wrench works perfectly. I'll put it up against any other torque wrench of the same style no matter who makes it. I have torque wrenches that are hundreds more that work just as well.
As for some of the reviews left for this item I'd have to say that a few are written by people who obivously have no business leaving a review. If you go so far as to strip a bolt or snap a bolt then you have no business commenting on this item. you still have to know ow much a bolt will take to brake or strip weather using a torque wrench or a standard ratchet. weather you are waiting on a click or not you should know what is too far or to hard.

Was replacing brake pads on my motorcycle and decided to finally get one. Set the torque to 17 pounds and I had a feeling that it wasn't working. Loosened the bolt and then set it to 5 pounds. Sheared off a grade 5 bolt. Cost me over $25 to get an easy out, drill bit, and another bolt PLUS the time and aggravation. Never was able to get it to click. Then I set it to as low as it would go and tried another one that could handle the torque. Still no click. Moral of the story, how much did I save by buying a HF torque wrench? Don't get me wrong, I buy from here often but for something that needed to work and be accurate, think twice.

Works very well.
Got this one for oil filter caps and drain plugs. I followed included instructions and started my own test of accuracy at lower range, under 20 lb-ft. Results are good, only a lb-ft off under 10 lb-ft tests. The markings on Nm side are marked incorrectly. There should not be a decimal point between numbers; 10 lb.ft = about 14 Nm, the marking shows 1.4 Nm instead of 14. Other than that, it is a good tool I like to have.4/25/2016
