There are several uses for this jack. It has bailed me out on several occassions. I recommend it be required equipment in every car, truck, tow truck, off road vehicle, RV,garage, barn...wherever you can fit it.

Used jack in pulling fence post. Did job with ease and quickly. Only suggestion would be in providing arm at top of jack to keep it plum to bottom of rachet arm.

I bought this last week to remove tree stumps and it worked like a champ. I pulled a 150 pound stump out with about 5- 10 pounds of force on the handle. The 48" lift got it completely out of the ground.

The small base was critisized as unstable by some other reviewers. In my case it was an advantage. It allowed me to dig a smaller trench to get the jack beneath the root.

The directions were vague on how to use the reversing switch. You just need to push it down to lower. Pull it up to raise. In all a great piece of equipment.

I bought this jack for two purposes. Today I lifted my storage shed (10x12) to level it and reset on blocks. I raised the shed over 1 1/2 feet with no issues. It did a great job. Next is to relevel a post and side of my porch that settled wrong. I used it on dirt and I found the base to be stable. The material and construction is strong. Very good product for my needs, especially for the price.

i go 4X4ing all the time it was very helpful to me when my tire hit a rock and shredded. the jack was very flexible around the rocks and sand.

I bought this jack to lift my tractor to change tires. I have a huge 65 Horse tractor, and this jack lifts the rear axle enough to get the tires off. It works very well, and I keep it in my barn for quick access. I've got plans to buy and extra one to keep around my place.

So far I have used this jack to move my storage shed and to help install overload shocks on my Jeep.

Used this several times to undo problems I have gotten into, including tipping over tractor. Works very well, extremely rugged. I use a longer piece of pipe over the handle to make it easier on myself. Very handy to have around

I bought this jack to use with my lifted 1979 Jeep Wagoneer since the stock jack is no longer big enough. Since I just bought it today I have yet to use it on a trail. However I did lift my jeep about 10 times when I got it home and am pleased with what i got for the money.

So far I only have two problmes with this item.
The first as others have stated is the small and unstable base which I will most likely replace. The second is that I had difficulty getting the lowering lever to switch. I had to work it a bit the first two times but after lifteing the jeep several more times it seemed to loosen up and worked good.

Over all I feel this is a good low budget jack for someone who is just getting into off roading or dosen't need an off road/farm jack offten and dosent want to spend a lot of money on one.

needed to pull out some split rail fence posts which were rotting, I figured this would work and it did a great job. A few broke off in the ground so I drove a 10" screw through a heavy chain and looped the other end around the jack with a turnbuckle and pulled them out. This is a cheap [$] tool that did the job I needed to do.
