I bought these bits to use with a rotary hammer I also purchased from HF. At the time, I only had a use for the 1" bit, but buying the set is way cheaper than buying a single bit at one of the other "home improvement" retailers. Upon using the 1" bit, I found other uses for the remaining sizes. The bits work just as well as bits manufactured by high-end manufacturers.

Great bits for the price. Used these all day long with no slowing down. Pushes right through the concrete. Needed for every concrete drilling project

As a plumber, I burn through lots of masonary bits drilling holes through brick and block. I grabbed these when I was caught off-guard and needing a 1" bit to install a hose faucet in a brick wall. Price made me squirm, thinking they would be too soft to make it through a single hole. They cut like butter in faster time than other bits I have used at much higher cost. Will have to see how many jobs they live through, but even if this $20 set didn't have more life in them, they already paid for themselves.

Great set of bits priced right. How about 24" set. No need for 12" set.

just giving everyone a heads up, the actual depth you can drill is a couple inches less than 16". It's closer to around 12".
My foundation walls are around 14" thick, and it could not make it through! Whoops! I wish they made a set that was a little longer!
