When you consider that just two of the long hooks will cost $2 or more this is an excellent value. It contains about 20 of the most desirable hooks and the rest can be used as accessory (balance) hooks or for small items. No matter how you look at it you are getting more than twice your monies worth.

I got a 4'x8' Peg board from A hardware store, had them cut it in half to fit in the car
I installed them on the left And right of my work bench. I bought these pegs because it was affordable.. to fill 2 sections of peg board I needed a total of 4 packages of this item. Now I can find everything in my garage.

These are great and a great deal at the price compared to the big box retailer prices. I have bought several kits (I have about 200 linear feet of 8 foot high pegboard). But for every kit there are about 4-7 pieces that will have the pins welded on at odd angles or the wrong spacing to fit the peg board. Or some pins fall off from bad welds. There are usually 40+ usable pieces left, so I don't sweat it too much. If they fit they are strong and don't rust.

I guess the package does indeed say 1/8" hooks... but the 1/4 are far more sturdy. Unfortunately HF only carries the 1/8 and so you would have to pay much more for quality. I'm still happy to have them but if your looking for a "nice" setup or plan on hanging heavy stuff you will need to look elsewhere.

I recommend if you're a poor guy like myself ;)

If you find that they come off the board whenever you remove a tool you can use some duct tape strips to "thicken" the part that goes through the board and that helps some.
