I use these to speed up carpet drying times. They work great. The move a lot of air for a small size. If you add the optional duct, you can suck or blow just about anyplace, great for flood damage. The instructions mention a 12" model, not able to find it. Another vendor has both 8" and 12" models as well as 16' and 32' long ducts, of course way more expensive than Harbor Freight, even if you don't have a coup on to use.

I own a remodel company, I got one of these to keep my guys cool and to blow the dust out when needed.
This thing has some serious airflow but it is extremely loud. Low or High isn't much of a difference but both settings are very effective.

If noise is no matter, buy it right now.

I have 2 of these that i have running 12 hours a day everyday for 6 months now, not an issue between the 2 of them. Not the highest pressure ventilator, but as long as it can intake and exhaust well it is amazingly powerful for the amount of energy it uses.
