This is a great spot blaster that recycles media. I use it after stripping paint on automotive panels with a sander to clean small deeper rust spots left behind.
To install the bag you can do that in about 20 seconds just by rolling the bag edge to put a cuff on it and then un-roll the cuff out on the gun body.
As other have said, remove the rubber cap and put the media in the head front to fill the bag without removing it. This is so much faster.
I recommend to use a hose clamp to snug the rubber head so as to prevent the tiny amount of media blow-by when the bag pressurizes and this also extends the usable life of a bag fill.
The supplied rubber heads snug and mold well to the surrounding surfaces and seals tightly with no media loss when blasting. A few seconds blast and the spot is cleaned and the media remains in the bag. The instructions don't mention glass beads as media to use but that is what I use and it works excellent.
You will not find a better spot blaster in this price range.

Prinary use is for cleaning ion source parts for a cyclotron. We cannot have any contamination, and use of waste media insures that our aluminum oxide is always virgin. These work great, just a few blasts clean off built-up tantalum deposits. A cabinet is too invting for someone to clean other things and contaminate the media, which shuts down our source. I also use one at home for spot blasting before priming to get rid of rust.

Works very well. Don't bother to take the bag off for reloading the blast media, save yourself some frustration. Just remove the rubber tip and pour around the tip, the bag fills so much easier this way.

Most people seem to think this is an open blast unit. It isn't. To use it you select the tip you need and press it against the metal in the area you want to clean. Then pull the trigger. It will blast the spot and recycle the media back into the bag. Works great for body shop use on stone chip rust or areas like door skin seams. I have three loaded with different abrasives depending on desired finish.

I ended up scrapping the bag and getting a 2 foot clear hose and copper pipe from the local HW store. I attached one end of the clear host to the end of the aluminum pipe that usually goes in the bag. The other end of the clear hose I attached to the small copper pipe. I then just stuck the copper pipe into the media container and away it went. It sucks the media right through the hose and out the tip. No more refilling the tiny bag. I used the clear hose so I could visually see it being sucked through it.

First off, this is a spot blaster- it is meant to blast small (spot) areas of rust, which is why it has a tiny bag. You are supposed to press the rubber end against the metal you are blasting and not use it as a normal blaster. With that out of the way, the bag is nearly impossible to install with the clamp system. I'm not sure that it could be made more difficult to use.

The media handling is clumsy. Prior comment regarding reloading of media through the nozzle end sounds like a great idea. For the price, a little clumsiness is OK.

Good little blast gun. I used baking soda in it and it took the paint right off. Worked very well. The only bad thing about it is you have to constantly reload the bag. Doesn't really have a big capacity. Other then that works very well.

I think I am going to try and retro fit a jar or something on it to make the capacity slightly bigger.

Great little gun. And you can't beat the price. It's works and that's all I asked for. Lol.

Do your self a favor and spend a little more for the 21oz gravity feed gun. This thing was terrible to use. It requires constant refilling and the spring clip is very difficult to operate. Sometimes you get media to flow and sometimes you don't. The bag also eventually tore at the opening making matters worse. I bought the 21oz model and threw this one away.
