I bought this to paint some parts for my motorcycle and once you get the gun set right it is a breeze to use. I had no orange peel at all and a very smooth finish that required no wet sanding. I have not had these results with better guns. Now the bad thing is I cannot get the nozzle off to clean the needle. It is so dang tight. So to remedy that I just spray thinner through it to get it clean. Works good enough until I can get this thing in the vice to get the nozzle off. I know it is just mine though as the other one in the box screws off easily.

Used to paint bumper and front grill on my infiniti qx56. No orange peel smooth easy to controll and overall I am a happy camper. P.S. That was my first spray paint job :)

I bought this kit on sale for less than 38.... 2 guns for that price, Plus a nice carrying case...

I used the big gun to spray my 3rd car.. Epoxy hardened auto paint... ONE Step..w/catalyst..

Took my time ,, played with the setting.... Love the job it did... Never missed a beat..

I had taken back another dual set from a different big store outlet because it did not work correctly and i had paid about double for it.... Glad i took it back and bought this duo set...

Heres the skinny on this gun. It sprays like a $130 primer gun from Devil -biss or Finishline for a fraction of the price. the only bad thing i have found after opening every one at the store is that the tips look like they are not inspected for debre from the lathing process to make the tips. therefor there were metal peices all throughout the threads of the 1.8 tip. Also you will not be able to use the supplied tip removal tool the first time you take the tips off for the same reason. It seems the tips are screwed in with these metal bits still on the threads and they act like a super industrial locktite. So get your long 3/8 inch wrench to it the first time you unscrew it. AND CLEAN THOSE THREADS!
Other than that. GREAT GUN!

These paint guns will perform and lay down a perfect paint job with little experience, we spray base/clear out of them and they are very consistent and easy to clean, a real bargain.

I have a couple different spray guns and have been priming and painting the car I'm restoring. This 2 piece set is one of the best deals for the price. **Be aware** You will need the female couplers, at least 2 air filters in your line, and air regulator to be able to use these guns properly. Before use I tested for any air leaks, I also adjusted spray pattern by running water through the gun and dialing in. Overall the build quality is average, but the gun is more than capable of painting a car. I'm doing epoxy primer,and urethane base coat-clear coat. People assume you need the most expensive guns to have a quality paint job...the sanding/prep and painter is what determines your finished product, not the gun. I have not used the smaller gun other than running air through it, but the detail gun seems fine as well. The included 1.8mm is good for primers, and the 1.4mm is good for base/clear. In the end, if your deciding on painting your car yourself and your afraid on what gun to choose... well don't be afraid to purchase this gun. I used the gun today you are viewing, I guarantee spraying with a high-end gun and this, you'd never tell the difference, the clean-up was easy with some lacquer thinner, and they also come with a 2 year warranty if you have any problems.

I used both spray guns and both needels for the big gun and it works great i paind a utility tralier with them and they both work great i sprayed latex that i got at a local hardware store and it was pretty thick and both spraed it really nice. But the little gun had alot of overspray but i probally could have fixed that by turnig the pressure down other than that its a great set

i used to paint cars, trucks, horse trailers, houses 20 years ago...im back in the game and this setup worked great...cant wait to paint a 2 stage paint and clear coat and see hwo it works

Both of these guns work extremely well. I was even able to use the larger one with latex paint, and it worked perfectly. The small one I used with auto paint and it was also excellent.

Pretty much no overspray. Very simple to adjust, to get a very even finish.
