I used the gear puller to remove the roller bearings from the transmission shaft. Worked great without damaging the bearings. Well worth the money for once in a while use.

I used this to remove the front wheel bearing from the front hub on a 96 Subaru Legacy. After pulling the hub out with a front wheel drive hub puller, the bearings are left attached to the hub shaft. I used this bearing puller and it worked great removing them.

I used this kit to pull a gear that required an 8" reach. The way the kit comes, it will not reach 8". I went to a hardware store and bought a collar and a bolt and extended the puller arms by 3-4 inches and it worked perfect! The 5" diameter gear I pulled came off clean with no visible damage where the puller was.

This was the only solution I found locally to pull a gear with an 8"+ reach. The good thing about this kit is the ability to use common nuts/bolts from your local hardware store to extend it's reach. That way it will work for virtually any depth.

Although I had to modify the kit for my personal use, I still rate it 5/5 stars just because of how well it worked. Hope this review was helpful! Good luck!

I used this to remove a set of differential carrier bearings. in the process the bolts holding the unit together, the rods and puller attachment all bent.

bottom line: its a light duty tool dont use it for anything but simple removal duties.

I have used this to remove the stuborn control arm bushings on BMWs when every tool I have failed and before torching it out. I also used it in removing rusty drumbrakes.. dont ask me how. My only gripe is the quality of metal they used. it seems soft. You do get a little more what you paid for in this case.

I bought this set just in case and I've used it more times than I can count. My only complaint, The feet on the silver legs are made of very thin soft metal and I've bent and broke them off very easily.
