I bought two of these to use in my summer kitchen. I have pressure-canned hundreds of jars so far with this little propane stove setup and they keep going and going. Great for any indoor or outdoor use, you just have to make sure any breezes don't blow out the flame, as with any cook stove.

I bought one of these (and needed regulator) for our cabin. It's been great - high output, easy to clean. Liked it so much that I bought another for use at our home when the power is out.

As mentioned in other reviews it's bigger than the illustration would lead you to believe, it has full size stove burner spacing, that is, two 12" pans will fit side by side, with a inch between them. Base is solid 16 gauge stainless steel, burners are cast iron and brass, it's simple and well made. Gas inlet can be switched from either side if you are comfortable making gas connections and more than one unit can be connected in series because of this fact. The inlet is a standard thread that any propane regulator with hose available almost anywhere, will fit up to perfectly. The only thing I would critique is the fine nature of the gas vale adjustment, that is, from 3 o'clock to noon is off to full high, continuing from noon to 9 o'clock reduces the flame from full high to a simmer setting, because of this the adjustment is a bit too precise, so it's a bit more work to get just the right heat. The only thing I would like to add would be the electric ignition feature, I guess that model is no longer available. I use this every day, indoors, as my daily use stove, in Vietnam, my alternate location, most people only have a burner like this in their kitchen, full size stoves with ovens just are not used. Regarding safety,any flame will consume oxygen and produce CO, and hence poses a suffocation/ CO risk, normal use, in a normally vented living space is no more dangerous than using a kerosene heater of a free standing gas stove, use common sense. This stove is a good deal.

I did some shopping around and found this stove to be one of the best values on the market today! This stove is well built & easty to use, and makes a GREAT stove for outdoor camping. I purchased an additional adapter from another retailer that allows me to use the disposable small 16.4oz. propane cylinders. So now I'm able to use either the small, 5lb, or 20lb propane tanks! I only wish H.F. would include this adapter with the unit. But with that said, I can hardly wait to use this stove again next camping season. And please remember, THIS STOVE IS MEANT FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. INDOOR USE CAN KILL YOU!!!

I just took off the gas adaptor and put one on that fits my hose w/quick disconnect to use with the travel trailers regulated quick disconnect under the trailer.
No need to buy special regulator if you are using your trailers existing regulated gas line.
Just have to make a wind cover for it .

This cooktop looks nice and appears to be well built. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to try it out. I bought it thinking I would adapt it to work with the propane quick connection on my travel trailer. The gas fitting on the side is an oddball 5/8" compression fitting that is almost impossible to adapt to a standard quick connect hose. The only way to use this cooktop is to buy the recommended one-of-a-kind pressure regulator and hose. Since this item is essential to the use of the stove, it seems a little deceptive to sell it seperately.
