Has all the necessary bits for working on macbook pro (including tri-wing bit for newer macbook pro batteries and apparently for the Wii). The smallest phillips that is included is the correct one for working on a laptop. Good quality for super cheap!

I bought this set because a few of the screws on my pocket knife backed out and i couldn't find a t6 or t8 torx bit anywhere, went to HF and found this set, and it worked perfectly, only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic bit organizer makes it difficult to get the bits out and ended up throwing out the organizer and just using the case

I used the tri-wing bit included to dismantle a Wii. There were a couple of screws recessed in the case that were difficult to get with the handle attached to the bit. The bit was useless and stripped of "teeth" after.

The kit needs #00 and #000 phillips as well as a #00 and #000 tri-wing bits!!

I purchased this set specifically to take apart a few hard drives I had sitting around in order to show the neighbor-kid how they work. The small Torx bits worked, though they weren't particularly well fitting, they all did the job. There was only one screw I could not remove due to the loose tolerances of the Torx heads. I had 5 philips head screws to remove, I stripped the head off of 3 of the phillips bits and gave up. They really broke off like plastic.

Previous reviewer was right, the case this comes in makes it very hard to get at the bits you want without destroying the plastic.

The handle is well designed though.

Bottom line, for the Torx bits I would go buy the appropriate name brand life-time warranty screwdriver instead for about $10.

This is not one of the Harbor Freight items I would recommend.

If your looking to repair Apple products especially Macbooks skip this set. The set doesn't include Phillips #00 Screwdriver bit. The Phiilips #00 is a common screw for electronic & Apple products.
