This press can't be beat for the money. I bought one of these for the shop to install bushings, bearings, bend & shape heavy metal parts, etc. And I have not had any trouble with the press itself. However one of the other guys at the shop did manage to break the arbor plates that were supplied with the press. The arbor plates are made of loosely-cast iron and should not be used directly under the workpiece. I do blame the user for using the arbor plates wrong but Iwas surprised how cheap the plates were and how easily it broke in half.

The bottom line is: This is perfect for a small repair shop or home workshop. I liked it so much I bought one for home too.

I'm constantly re-building motocross race engine, which means that I needt to replace bearings all the time. I finally got sick of driving up to the specialty store to pay them $20 evertime I need to install a bearing...this press does a great job and is well worth the money......easy to put together and operate and handlles everythign from main bearings to sterring stem bearing and stem removal and insertion.....what a time saver!

so far i have used it on ball joints and spring bushings on my f-250 and it has saved me alot of time and hard work. set it up and get after it.

Have had it a couple of months. Works fine for me, no leaks. Presses out every bearing I have placed on it. I do have an adaptor set for different sized bearings and bearing splitters for the press, have not seen a press that comes with those yet. I have my own automotive repair shop and it gets it's use. So far so good and it has saved me money for other equipment. Again, no leaks, it was purged as instructed and tightened. Would recommend.

I have a hobby of building semiauto Kalashnikov style rifles. I have formed receivers, pressed pins and barrels in and out, and formed rivets.

This press is amazing. The only complaint I have is sometimes I need to head space a barrel by a couple of thousands of an inch. It isn't that precise.

Straightened a seriously bent 1-1/4" steel axle spindle, in about 30 minutes, to within 1 degree. This one job paid for the entire investment! (although the press tooling supplied is very limited, so you need some experience in tooling and pressing for this type work) I would say this is one of the best shop tool values I have come across.

I have used it to remove hub bearings and wheel studs, did both jobs easily! Did several days worth of work in one afternoon.

I purchased this press to use in rebuilding old cars and trucks. The welds are ugly but appear to be sound, and the press was easy to assemble. I was a bit frustrated because the space between the bed rails was less than I was hoping necessitating some ingenuity to remove differential bearings, but pressing bearings off and on the pinion and onto the differential was simple and easy. If you feel you will need to use a press more than a couple of times in your future, I would definitely recommend this one.
