Comments about Central Pneumatic Gravity Feed Blaster Gun:

The trick to having success in using this tool is the media. I bought it, plus a bigger 20 pound blast pot to sandblast/refinish some surplus firearm kits that I have. I have a small contractor size air compressor, and I quickly discovered that it was undersized for the 20 pound pot, and when I tried to use this little gun instead, the gun clogged with the slag grit blast media I was using (I think 70 mesh grit media). I had just about gave up on using this, when I bought the small "air eraser", and a jar of 220 grit media. I tried the 220 media in this unit, and it works great. I have a small homemade blast booth that I set on my work bench, and with this unit, it is quite easy to sandblast/refinish a FN FAL rifle kit. The only drawback is the limited hopper size, and one has to stop and refill the hopper every few minutes. This unit is not made for production purposes, so if you have time to stop and refill, its a good buy, instead of buying a bigger unit, that takes up alot of space in your shop. If you are going to use the unit, the 220 grit is expensive, and you will need a blast booth/glove box to collect and recover/reuse the media.

    Not impressed

Comments about Central Pneumatic Gravity Feed Blaster Gun:

I had an intake mani I wanted to clean up. using regular sand this thing just wouldn't consistently spray anything. I ended up shaking it around trying to get it to work. When it did spray it did a fine job but I spent more time trying to get it to work that it did. It would spray just fine, just didn't seem to want to feed the media.

    low cost & poor results

Comments about Central Pneumatic Gravity Feed Blaster Gun:

Using fine walnut shell grit on an aluminum ladder w/ paint overspray; could see NO results. Used on a wood carving to enhance the grain and could detect some results. Cap too easily over tightened just strips off. Grit pours from nozzle unless held horizontal or slightly up. Had to shake gun at times to get grip to discharge. I'm sending it back.

    Great little spot blaster.

Comments about Central Pneumatic Gravity Feed Blaster Gun:

I bought this item to clean up small engine parts. I have a small air compressor and the low volume of material that can be used each time works out wonderful. About the time I run out of material, I run low on air. Refill, build up air, go again. This is a spot blaster and is for small areas, works great and great price.
