I have had mine a couple of years ,I spray trailers and outher stuff I build.The only problem I had was the gasket in between the gun and can, I replaced it with a name brand and no more problems, for the price its perfect for me and remember with this paint gun or any outher paint gun clean it good when finished with it. Mine puts a slick finish on everything I paint.

I used this gun for spraying filler primer, because it came with a 1.8 mm fluid tip. My Millenium GTI 2000 gun's standard tips were too small. The fluid tip is what the paint comes out of. A large tip size is needed as filler primer is pretty thick stuff almost like sprayable bodyfiller. It fills in scratch marks.

This gun is inefficient. There always a lot of material left in bottom of the can. Also the guns seals tend to be loose causing the spray to pulse heavily with dry spray.

With the assistance of my painter with 30 years of experience I was able get this gun workable.

Test the gun for sprayability with lacquer thinner before mixing up expensive paint. Look for air leaks by starting the airflow in the gun (pull the trigger slightly, but not enough to spray material) and then listen and look for bubbles in the liquid in the can. Bubbles are sure sign of a leak. I used teflon tape around the threads of the fluid tip, which immediately helped to stop the bubbling and stop the majority of the pulsing. You will also have to turn the spray gun head around depending on which way the cup is angled so the suction straw stays in the fluid.

Good point of the gun is the cup is on the bottom, so it usually interferes less with spraying inside a wheelwell
It's really is a bottom of the line gun though. It wastes more time and materials than money saved. Don't use it for basecoat (color) or clearcoat. It's a get you through 1 small job gun.

I liked it for the fact that it's lightweight and has good spray pattern. After a couple of months it quit working. Save your money and get a better gun.


This would make a good spray gun if you were to primer a complete car and then just toss this gun. It's not worth cleaning it.
