Good idea needs slight modification Review by tc

Excellent idea however, the three screws holding the chainsaw bar tend to slide. This can be fixed by drilling indentation into the bar to help the set screws hold in place. (This is a Must Fix) The other issue is the foam material that is on the inside of the guide going to your 2x6 has too much play. this should have been made of a poly material or some hardened material to keep side to side slop out of the tool. These two issues are minor. I am a perfectionist and prefer things done right. I made these two adjustments and it works fantastic. Recommend this to anyone who wants a quick, easy, light and cost effective way to produce perfectly straight lumber.
