Metric Drill/Tap/Deburr Bit Set

I plan on using it for light duty work on aluminum, plastic and thin metal forms. I work in a large semiconductor fab, yet we don't even stock simple tap sets to repair busted screw holes on the equipment.
Buying a set of my own will hopefully save me at least an hour or so trying to hunt down the right tap.
I don't really need all the screwdriver bits, but instead would have preferred they put the standard and metric bits together in a kit with an appropriate handle.
I bought both the standard and metric sets and did just that.
Anyone need a bunch of screwdriver bits?

Ok, first off, most people have the common sense required to use this particular tool. After seeing a previous review, this prompted me to lay out the rules on this little gem for those that don't, and write bad reviews on it. Ok, as you know, taps in general are for mild steel. If you're wanting it to do 2" high carbon tool steel, good luck. Also, it has to have a place for the drill to go once it starts to thread. This means that the threads will make the drill part cut too much, breaking the bit once the tap part bites. So use your best judgement, and this means that you can do things like set screws if the work isn't too thick, most sheet metals, pipe, etc, but it can't be more than probably 1/4" thick. If you look at the tool, you can figure all this out by yourself. That being said, I used it to drill a very nice set screw hole, and the threads were very accurate, and there was no wobble to the screw. Also use it for some other projects that all worked out well. Just remember, use it under the same rules as a self-drilling, self-tapping screw, and you'll be fine.

I purchased this product to use on construction sites. I work in the electrical trade.
The bits drilled and tapped perfectly fine in heavy duty metal junction boxes.
The deburring part of the bit didn't seem to do much when I tried it.
Its a great tool to have in the bag just in case you need to change or add a threaded hole.
I don't plan to use this item very often, so life expectancy wasn't exactly a priority.
If you do plan to use a drill-tap set often you're probably better off gettnig a better known brand, but get one of these for back-up.

The idea was to drill and tap with a single step, but flute on the drill part weaken the overall strength. Totally useless unless you're tapping plastic or soft metal. Try fixing an IKEA error with the 8mm tap, it breaks after about 5 turns, created a bigger headache.
