Great starter plane Review by Noesser

This starter plane is good enough for the professional woodworker. Just keep it sharp and set it low so as to cut fine shavings and it will work great, keep it sharp and honed and it will last a long time.

Good Plane, Amazing Price Review by Corey

Picked up this plane on a whim (like so many of my HF purchases) and couldn't be happier. While I am sure that it isn't up to the quality level of a discerning and deep pocketed woodworker, I bought this for dirt cheap, took it home, sharpened it up, and shaved away all day long. No chattering, and no problems what so ever with function. My only gripe is that it was a bit small for my hands, and the handle placement causes the back of my knuckles to rub sore after a couple of hours.

I'd buy it again and recommend to a friend.
