I bought this on sale for $9 and for the price, it can't be beat! I use it often to take temps on my rc cars to check for overheating. This thing comes fully loaded with functions I don't even need. One function i especially like is live temp updating. And with the range of -27 to 230F it can handle any rc temps i take and more!

Not at all bad for the price, good value Review by Chris

I got one of these on sale and I have to say its actually pretty good. On the plus side, its small, cheap has long battery life. It is fast, very fast and It works when you need it. When it powers off it shows the time and ambient room temp. There is also a stopwatch.

On the minus side, its 1:1, so you gotta be pretty close to what your trying to measure. The accuracy is not especially good, + or - 4 degrees. it will however get you in the ballpark quickly. Last minus, it only ranges -27 to +230F but, what do expect for this price and size. The positive factors out weight the negative if you catch it on sale, otherwise go for the next model up.
