Tried to rinse moss and lichen off a roof while scrubbing with a stiff broom. Customer had a weak well and insisted she shower while we work. We couldn't get water to the gutter, let alone the peak. The gutter was about 20' from the ground, the peak about 35'. I had a brainstorm. Fill up a 100 gallon rubber stock tank with water (45 minutes, even with no other water used). Then pump it out with this pump. Through a 3/4" hose, the flow was outstanding. The tap could not keep up with the water this pump delivers. I'd run it a few minutes, shut down and let the tank refill. Used about 400 gallons on this job. Without this pump, wouldn't have been possible.

I use this pump to flood an ice rink in Michigan. I got tired of using water from the hose bib, so I just drill a hose in the ice and pump it from under the ice. It pumps about the same amount of water as my hose did. The connections are standard hose connections - it comes with a plastic filter for the end of the feed line so the pump wont clog. Overall, better quality than I was expecting. I am going to put it to work this winter, so we will see how much abuse it can take.

I used it to pump anti-freeze into a boiler. It had plenty of power, easy to prime, quiet. I plugged it into a power strip and used the switch for on/off. Half the price of the brand name, and looks nearly identical.

Installed this next to a well to use irrigation water. Easy to install and works great. No on & off switch, just plug it in. if you're using it for a well application a foot valve & a on & off valve just before the pump helps keep it primed & ready to use. Only lost prime once in 5 months. Good flow rate, will run two sprinklers @ about 60%. Make sure all your fittings are tight or it'll leak & loose prime. Tried just using a regular ole garden hose as a suction hose & it worked fine ( didn't collapse the hose). Would purchase again!

So far so good! I bought this pump to clear water from the storm drain in my basement. I've been using it every day for about 2 weeks and it has performed great! I used Teflon tape on all the threads and there is no leaking at all. It pumps the water at a great rate. Regular garden hoses work with this pump, however the pump did partly collapse one hose I used at first,(it may have been too cheap of a hose?) But the pump still moved water. I did buy the 2yr warranty on it due to the fact that some people report that the brushes burn out fast. I used a 20% off on the item and the 20% was also taken off the price of the 2yr warranty as well (although I think they have changed that policy?)
The only bad thing so far is that the plastic filter piece that goes on the end of the suction hose has a "male" fitting, so it wont hook up to the hose without an adaptor. National Chain hardware stores sell one for about $5 or some power washers come with them that you could use with this as well. All in all I'm pleased with this pump!

From what I could measure, this does about 15 gallons per minute. Hook up your hoses, prime the pump and plug it in. Water starts flowing pretty quickly, depending on hose length.

The connection threads on the housing are not very easy to connect to with standard hose ends, but they work, and don't really leak.

I have a waterbed that I needed to drain. I've always rented a pump for about $35 but decided for the price I might as well buy this one. I had 20% off so it ended up being [$]. Hooked up garden hoses, primed it and plugged it in. It wasn't loud and it drained the entire bed in 15 minutes!! Other than not having an on/off switch I love it.

Can't beat it for the price. I was pleased it had the brass fittings with it so it was ready for two garden hoses...and it comes with extra brushes for the motor and a filter for the end of the suction hose but the funny part is the filter has male fittings and that requires an adapter. The pipe plug you have to remove to prime leaks at the threads so keep plenty of teflon tape handy. Maybe Harbor Freight will explain to the folks overseas that our garden hoses are male on one end and female on the other. Bottom line, I am very pleased with this pump. Time will tell as to its durability. I also purchased the 800 watt generator and it powers it very well.
