I put the magnet in a bucket and then had my kids walk around my industrial park with the magnet bucket in one hand and a dump bucket in the other. Once the bottom of the magnet bucket was covered they put it inside the dump bucket and lifted the magnet which released all the metal.
It couldn't get easier then this. I had no idea we had so many nails, bolts and junk lying around.

THIS WORKS VERY WELL, DO NOT KNOW IF IT WILL HANDLE 250LBS, HOWEVER DID HAVE A VERY BIG TOOLBOX FULL OF TOOLS THAT WAS LIFTED OFF THE GROUND WITH IT. MAY BE OVER RATED BUT WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

We use this magnet pick up steel of all kinds at our shooting hole. just drop the magnet in a bucket and drag across the ground , then lift the magnet. steel falls and megnet is clean & you can't beat the price!!

This magnet has pulled up probably 100lbs of nails and other hardware.
