It's a tool that does alot and takes up little space. it's very portable. Very nice to have around the shop. It needs more tooling for square tubing and angle bar and flat bar.

I bought this HarborFreight Tube Bender a few days ago. Really sturdy and heavy duty. This was my second bend wherein I took a 10ft x 3/4in tube and bent it into a 26in inner diameter circle/toroid.

Really great tool and easy to use. This took about 5 minutes or less to complete and I was going slow and easy.

You need to buy the base OR you need to have a table or something to bolt it too. It is heavy and stays put but you would not want it to fall on your feet! I bolted it to a 2x10x24 and set it on saw horses.

bought it to try and roll flat bar and was very happy with it was rolling 4" wide by 3/8 thick was very happy made 20"circles 2 thumbs up on this one

I've been looking at a manual roller nearly identical to this one for several years, but it was priced way too high. My wife found this one and bought it for me as a surprise gift. The frame and main parts of the tool appear to be very heavy duty. I had no problem with the set screws after I made sure they were centered and snug. Any looseness in the handle means the set screws are loose. If you immediately STOP and tighten them, you should have no more trouble.

Works great. If you start rolling bigger tube such as 1 1/2" you will get a work out but 1" and smaller is a piece of cake but no matter what size you roll the results are amazing. Just take your time and it will turn out great. I have been using mine to build furniture and it turns out gorgeous.

Bought this rolling machine to roll emt conduit for green house bows. read all the reviews first and after purchaseing the roller I decided to roll some sch 40 pipe to put it through its paces. I have been fabraciting for over 40 yrs. I had no trouble getting this to preform as I demanded. If you get a wrench or socket and ratchet and put all the force on it at once. yes it might fail. but being I was not in a big rush. and made small adjustments. I was able to bend the sch 40 just fine. If you want quicker, spend more money and buy a hydralic bender that is designed for the heavier punishment and use. It's great for the weekend project and someone who has patience..

for the money its incredible! Sure I can't run thick gauge tubing in one shot- but then again it is cheap, light and smoothly bends long radis tubing! I am a furniture designer and its great to have in the shop!

I am always afraid of cheap tools but this is a great tool for the price. It is a substantial piece of equipment. It comes with 3 sets of dies and works very well. I bought the flat die set as well. Makes beautiful rings in 1/4 x 1 1/2 steel. Really heavy material like 2" - .120 wall round tubing would probably be tough to work. This tool has strong shafts and ball bearings on all the moving parts. The sides are stamped 1/4" steel. So far I have not had any problems with stripped set screws. I suspect this may occur if you do not get the screw located correctly on a flat.

I've built several rollers for shops I've worked in, and decided I needed one in my own shop. I was at HF looking for pillow blocks and saw this roller. Some quick math determined it was cheaper to buy this roller than build one. Assembled it in about 20 minutes. Slick and easy for bending small stuff. Bottom rollers are a little close together for bending heavy gauge, large OD pipe. This is easily solved if you have welding/fab equipment. Just make a secondary bottom setup with spacing 12" - 14" from center. No problem. I do wish the square die were available in-store.

I used this roller set to build up all six tail pieces for my supercub clone experimental aircraft. I was able to make a varying radius bend in the elevators, rudder and horizontal stabilizers moving the piece back and forth from bender to jig to check dimensions. Tip: Make a sharpie line on the tube to keep it straight in the machine. If you don't you will get a three dimensional bend. Don't ask. Great product and yes I would recomend it to anyone!
