I have been struggling for years making hand cuts on 18 ga cold rolled. I have a very expensive porter cable inline shear. It cuts very hard and binds up. Was considering buying a throatless shear which cost around $1100. Then I came across this one, I thought for the price I would give it a try. I very rarely buy cheap tools like this even if it is only for one job, But Im very glad I did. This thing slices through 18ga steel like butter with no effort and very fast cut rate. The only suggestion I have is It would be nice if it was variable speed. But works fine never the less.

I bought this to trim 29 gauge sheet metal siding for my pole barn. I bought it because of the reviews and despite them, I was still incredibly amazed at how well it cuts. It simply glides through the metal and it is very easy to follow any marked cut lines that I needed to follow on the material. I have other types of sheet metal cutters, but this is by far the best I've used. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Saw the reviews and figured I would give it a try. Glad I did zips through 20 ga stainless like nothing, no burs makes building BBQ grills and braking metal a breeze!!

Should have gotten this 10 years ago! Easy to use, powerful, maneuverable, and makes work so easy! I'm patching a grain bin and cutting 18g sheet metal and it was so EASY it's like a DREAM COME TRUE! If you are looking for anything to cut sheet metal, don't look at the other shears get THESE I never stop to write a review int he middle of the job, but these one's impressed me so much that I did so and now I'm going back to finish the job! I'd rate this 20 stars if it was available! I have fought with sheet metal for so long and I thought these were a joke, but I finally gave in to try one. Boy and I glad I did!

I build racecars. This is such a awesome tool. No wasted material like using nibblers. So easy to use cutting aluminum and steel for interier.

this tool is fantastic for cutting 20, 18gauge steel i buy 4x10 sheets and this tool cuts great saves time and my wrists. i found this tool by accident on a trip to hp i didnt know they had them .great find like the rest of the reviews iam very very pleased with this tool thanks hp.

Bought this tool because I was doing some body work on my car.





It did such a great job I was disappointed that I had no more metal to cut!





For the price, you just can't beat this thing. Way better than using shears or tin snips. Really fast and really smooth cuts.





Highly recommended.

Bought these for doing some body work on my car. Had to cut some patches and did not want to cut with the tin snips so for the sale price, I figured if it did not work, no big deal.





This nibbler is fantastic for thinner sheet metal. Cuts are smooth.





Cut all my patches and was disappointed that I had no more stuff to cut. I never thought I would need a tool like this until I got it. I then realized that with all the sheet metal I have cut over the years, I really needed a tool like this.





I was not really a big fan of Harbor Freight as I always thought you get what you pay for. I'm beginning to change my mind. Harbor Freight and the sale price of this tool plus what it can do has made me realize that paying 10 times the amount for a tool that I may use every once in a while is not really a good deal at all. For the price, this nibbler cannot be beat !

I bought this tool months ago knowing I would someday need it, and 2 nights ago I finally got to play with this fantastic tool. all tools should be this easy to operate and get these kinds of results. It sliced through 18GA sheet metal like a hot knife through butter, and the cuts were clean, even when I when off the line and need to correct my mistake, it worked like a champ, my buddy who tried it last night couldn't put it down and was looking for more things to cut .
