Used this to make a charcoal grill out of a 55 gallon drum. Swivel head was great for getting into hard to reach places. Went through 70-80 rivets without a problem. Wish it came with instructions so people that aren't used to using this type of product would know how to make adjustments.

I had to drill out the rivets on the inside door panel of my truck to repair the window motor. I used self tapping screws to reattach the door but after a month the panel was loose again. i bought this rivet gun and it works great! no problems with any of the attachments or rivet butts sticking. this is the one to buy for the price.

If you don't have one and even think you might sometime have use for a pop riveter,GET ONE of THESE.

Great idea; terrible construction. One handle has a design flaw: narrows down to very thin metal for no reason... I used this ONCE and when I squeezed the handle it snapped off!! Finished the project squeezing the remnants with a C-clamp. I live so far away I won't even try to return mine.

Lasted for approximately 30 rivets (mostly 1/8" some 3/16"). Rivets started to get hung in the egress channel which eventually led to a 2 pin "pile up". This shattered the clamp jaw retention collar. Seemed to handle the 1/8" rivets just fine. I believe the force to stitch a 3/16" rivet is a bit more than this tool can reliably handle.

This riveter is a piece of junk. Set about 3 rivets, all of which I had to snap off the shank by hand because the riveter would just not grip the shank or the rivet hard enough and after setting the rivet, would just not pull off the shank. Huge pain in the butt. I hope I can exchange it for something better.........

Multiple attempts to make it work were unsuccessful and frustrating. Even looked at a Utube instructional video to make sure I knew what I was doing. Gotta find a better one!

Bought this riveter to replace my 30+ year old Cr4ftsm4n riveter that was on it's last leg. I returned it the same day I bought it, took way took many attempts to get the rivets to pop. Finshed the project with my old Cr4ftsm4n. Thought that because it had longer handles it would be easier to use on larger 3/16 rivets, I gave up after 2 rivets.

I have fairly large hands but there is no way I could get one hand around this tool to squeeze together. Both hands are needed unless your name is King Kong.

I always had trouble getting the rivet pins out of the chuck. Tried to use it on 3/16" rivets with a steel pin. The hinge points both broke on the 2nd rivet. Only good for occassional use with light weight aluminum pin rivets.
